MarHire Taxi Marrakech ("MarHire Taxi Marrakech", "we", "us", "our") is the private driver and airport transfer agency of MarHire in Marrakech, Morocco. MarHire is a registered travel company based in the United States and Morocco. Our services are operated by licensed drivers — MarHire's own drivers and contracted drivers working under MarHire's brand and standards — and our own team handles every booking, change and support request.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our Website, making an inquiry, or completing a booking, you ("Customer", "you") agree to these Terms & Conditions ("Terms") and to any service-specific conditions shown on the listing page, checkout, and voucher/confirmation. If there is a conflict, the listing/voucher terms prevail for that booking.

We may update these Terms periodically; the version posted with a new update date applies to future bookings.

2. Definitions & Our Role

• Platform: The MarHire Taxi Marrakech website, communications, and booking processes.

• Service: An airport transfer, point-to-point transfer, intercity trip, or hourly/day hire with a driver.

• Driver: The licensed professional driver assigned to your booking.

• Voucher/Confirmation: The binding booking confirmation you receive after payment/approval; it includes key terms (date, pickup time and location, destination, vehicle type, passengers, luggage, inclusions, contact).

3. Eligibility & Customer Responsibilities

• The person making the booking must be 18+. Minors may travel when accompanied by a responsible adult.

• Provide accurate details (lead passenger name, phone/WhatsApp, flight number for airport pickups, pickup address, number of passengers and luggage) and keep them updated.

• Read the listing and voucher, and be ready at the pickup location on time.

• Follow local laws and the driver's safety instructions.

4. Quotes, Availability & Booking Formation

• Quotes are indicative until confirmed in writing (email/voucher).

• A booking exists only when a MarHire Taxi Marrakech confirmation is issued.

• We may decline bookings that are unsafe, fraudulent, or unavailable.

• Vehicles are booked by type and capacity. The exact model may vary; we may provide an equivalent or higher category if the booked type is unavailable.

5. Pricing, Currency & Inclusions

• Prices are shown in EUR (viewable in MAD/USD in some cases). Your bank's FX rate and fees are outside our control.

• Prices are per vehicle, not per person, for the route or duration booked, and include the driver and fuel unless stated otherwise on the listing.

• Bottled water and USB charging are included in every vehicle.

• Optional extras (e.g., child seats and boosters, extra stops, extra waiting time, route changes) may be charged and are shown during booking or confirmed before the change.

6. Payments

All bookings require partial or full prepayment online. Any remaining balance is paid at the start of the service, as stated during checkout or on your booking confirmation.

We use Stripe and other approved payment methods to process online payments securely. By making a payment, you authorise MarHire and its payment service providers, including Stripe, to charge the payment method you provide for the applicable booking amount and any other authorised charges under these Terms.

7. Force Majeure & Safety

If the service is impossible or unsafe due to events beyond reasonable control (e.g., severe weather, road closure, natural disaster, strikes, civil authority orders), you may select a free reschedule or a full refund.

8. Service Conditions

Scope

Point-to-point transfers (airport, hotel, address, intercity) and hourly or day hire, operated by licensed drivers. The route, stops and duration are those shown on your voucher.

Airport Pickups

Provide a valid flight number at booking. Your driver tracks your flight and meets you in the arrivals area; pickup is aligned to your actual landing time at no extra charge, even if the flight is delayed.

Waiting Time

Reasonable waiting is included, as shown on the listing or voucher. Waiting beyond the included time may be charged. If you cannot be reached and do not arrive within the waiting period, the booking may be treated as a no-show under our Cancellation Policy.

Changes During the Service

En-route changes (extra stops, route changes, extra time) may affect the price and timing, and are subject to the driver's availability and our approval.

Passengers & Luggage

Declare the number of passengers and the luggage volume (including large items such as surfboards, golf bags, bikes, or strollers) at booking. The driver may refuse to carry passengers or luggage beyond the vehicle's safe capacity; a larger vehicle may be needed at extra cost.

Child Seats

Request child seats or boosters in advance as add-ons during booking (fees apply). Operators may refuse unsafe configurations.

Conduct & Safety

Seatbelts are required for all passengers. No smoking in the vehicle. Alcohol or drugs that compromise safety are not permitted, and the driver may refuse or end the service for abusive, unsafe, or illegal behaviour without a refund.

Damage & Soiling

You are responsible for damage to the vehicle, or soiling that requires cleaning, caused by you or your group. Related costs will be communicated to you with supporting evidence.

Lost Property

Check the vehicle before leaving. Contact us as soon as possible about items left behind; we will help coordinate their return but are not liable for lost belongings.

For urgent issues on the day of your service (e.g., you cannot find your driver), contact us immediately.

10. Reviews & User Content

By submitting reviews, photos, or feedback, you grant MarHire a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, and display that content for marketing and quality purposes.

We may moderate or remove unlawful, abusive, or irrelevant content.

11. Fraud, Chargebacks & Security

We may cancel bookings suspected of fraud or misuse. If you initiate a chargeback while a refund is in progress, we may pause the refund until your card issuer resolves the dispute to prevent double credit.

12. Privacy & Cookies

Your personal data is handled under our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy (available on our site). Contact [email protected] to exercise your privacy rights.

13. Intellectual Property & Website Use

All content, trademarks, and code on the Website are owned by or licensed to MarHire and protected by intellectual property laws.

You agree not to scrape, copy at scale, reverse engineer, or misuse the Website or booking flows.

14. Availability of Platform

We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, upgrades, or network issues may cause downtime.

We may alter, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform at any time.

15. Liability & Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to a booking is limited to the amount you paid for that booking.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses (e.g., a missed flight or onward connection caused by events outside our reasonable control, or by incorrect pickup details you provided), or for force majeure events.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

16. Severability, Assignment, No-Waiver, Entire Agreement

If any provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect.

You may not assign your rights without our consent. Our failure to enforce a term is not a waiver.

These Terms, together with the voucher and listing conditions, are the entire agreement for your booking.

17. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Moroccan law. The Courts of Marrakech (Marrakech-Safi) have non-exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.
